Remote Assistance
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO SET UP THE REMOTE SESSION:

1. Click the blue TeamViewer logo button above or follow this link: https://get.teamviewer.com/coloradocomputerhost
Upon landing at that website link, you will see this image:
2. Your browser will prompt you to save a file, which by default goes into your “Downloads” folder. Click “save” to proceed. In some cases, your browser might auto-download and save this file.
3. Double click to open the file “TeamViewer_Host_Setup.exe” and click “Next” to continue. When Windows prompts you to allow this program to run, click yes/allow.
4. Check the box to accept the EULA agreement and click “Continue”
5. Click “Allow and finish” to continue. This software will run in the background and will allow Colorado Computer to access your computer. You will be able to end any remote session at any time.
6. Double-click the “TeamViewer Host” icon now located on your desktop, or open it via the small icons near your clock on the taskbar.
7. Click “Configure” to grant access to Colorado Computer. When ready, click “Help me” to start the session.
8. The “Get help” window appears, with your computer’s name already filled in. You can put your own name in or leave it as is. You can leave the description blank and then click “Request support” to send us an alert and allow us to join the session.
9. Click “Allow access” to allow Colorado Computer to join the session.
10. You will see this pull-out window at the bottom right of your screen. The remote session has started, and you will see the mouse cursor moving which shows us controlling the computer remotely. Colorado Computer will now be able to make changes, run software utilities, reboot as needed, etc. At any time, you may click the “X” icon to end the session.
11. After the session is over, simply click the “OK” button to close the “Get help” window.
